Rutigliano Coffee HourHARTFORD – Trumbull State Reps. David Rutigliano (R-123), Laura Devlin (R-134) and Ben McGorty (R-122) met with residents from Trumbull at their latest “Coffee with Your Legislators” event at Best Edibles Deli on 4235 Madison Avenue.

The Trumbull legislators offered residents an update on legislative activity, answered questions about state issues and listened to concerns about the community.

“Any day we can hold these events and meet with residents is a good day,” said Rutigliano. I wish we could immediately fix and address all of the issues they bring to our table, but talking to people is definitely the tip of the legislative process,” he said.

“We will continue holding these events throughout the year, it’s important that we provide updates with the key issues of the state and hear the concerns of our constituents,”said Rep. Devlin.

Additionally, the three legislators talked to Best Edibles Deli owner Dom Mendes about his business and  Connecticut can become more business-friendly for small businesses.

Anyone unable to attend the most recent event, who would like to speak with Reps. Rutigliano, Devin or McGorty can reach them by contacting them via email at Dave.Rutigliano@housegop.ct.gov, Ben.McGorty@housegop.ct.gov, Laura.Devlin@housegop.ct.gov or by phone at 1-800-842-1423.
