Rep. Rutigliano Receives Committee Appointments

TRUMBULL – Representative-elect Dave Rutigliano (R-123) has received his appointments from House Republican Leader Lawrence F. Cafero, Jr. (R-142), as to which committees he will serve on during his first term.
“Representative-elect Rutigliano will be a great addition to these very important committees,” said Rep. Cafero on his appointment of Rutigliano. “He brings over 15 years of practical business experience that will serve his constituents well in Hartford.”
“It is a great honor to be placed on these committees,” said Rutigliano. “During the upcoming session the legislature will work on many important issues, and I look forward to using my background and experience to best serve the residents of Trumbull.”
Representative-elect Rutigliano will serve on the Human Services Committee, which works on all matters relating to the Department of Social Services and the Department of Children; the Insurance Committee, which oversees all matters relating to insurance law and real estate law; and the General Law Committee, which has cognizance of all matters relating to the Department of Consumer Protection, fair trade and sales practices, consumer protection, and all matters relating to alcoholic beverages.
Representative-elect Rutigliano will represent the 123rd District which includes most of Trumbull. He resides in town with his wife of 22 years, Michele, and their two sons. He was elected to his first term on November 6, 2012.
