I want to inform Trumbull residents that TOLLS are being talked about at the State Capitol. During this part of the legislative session there are many ways in which your voices are encouraged to be heard.

The Transportation Committee will hear testimony on the five bills calling for the implementation of tolls on state roads this Monday, February 27, at 11:00 a.m. in the Legislative Office Building in Hartford.

Here is the full public hearing agenda, which includes each of the tolling bills: https://www.cga.ct.gov/2017/TRAdata/pha/2017pha00227-R001100TRA-pha.htm

If you plan to testify, make sure your remarks are clear and concise, please click this link to get the public hearing committee rules. Written testimony should be turned in before the hearing begins. It will then become part of the permanent legislative record.

Anyone who cannot attend the hearing in Hartford, may submit testimony by email at tratestimony@cga.ct.gov.  Residents should mention tolling legislation in their subject headers and include their name and town.  There is no limit on the length of written testimony.
