    In the wake of the tragic events at Sandy Hook the Connecticut legislature has created a Bipartisan Task Force on Gun Violence Prevention and Children’s Safety. This Task Force will be charged with creating legislation that will effectively and meaningfully improve the safety of our citizens and, specifically, our children.

    A large part of their effort will be to listen to your ideas about how to prevent gun violence, enhance school security and improve mental health services in Connecticut. With this in mind, the Task Force has scheduled a series of public hearings specific to each working group.

    If there is a specific topic of importance to you I encourage you to sign up to give testimony or attend the public hearing to listen to the other ideas that are circulating.
