Governor Ned Lamont has announced $30 million in state grants through the Small Town Economic Assistance Program (STEAP) for 46 small towns across Connecticut! These funds will support a variety of infrastructure improvements — including road safety upgrades, emergency management improvements, pedestrian enhancements, and recreational facility upgrades.
Litchfield Highlight : Litchfield will receive $500,000 in state funding for the reconstruction of Wigwam Road, matched by $873,190 from the town.
This significant investment will improve local infrastructure, enhance safety, and support our community’s growth.
