State Representative Karen Reddington-Hughes (R-66), announced she is hosting two more Bear Safety and Awareness Forum with Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Wildlife Biologist Jason Hawley in Litchfield and Bethlehem.
The first forum will be held on Tuesday, August 8th at the Litchfield Town Hall Annex located at 80 Doyle Rd., Bantam, and the second will be held the following day, Wednesday, August 9th at the Bethlehem Memorial Hall located at 10 The Green, Bethlehem.
Human-bear interactions continue to occur despite our best efforts to discourage them. Join us for an informational meeting on growing bear populations in Connecticut, awareness and safety, and legislation presented in the State Legislature to help combat this ongoing issue.
