The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that milling and resurfacing will be performed on Route 109 in Morris from Route 209 Bantam Lake Road to Route 63. This project is scheduled to begin on Monday, Aug. 25 and is expected to be completed on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025.
Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating traffic. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are also advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
