Rep. Pizzuto, Chairman Gillette to Host “PURA 101 and Your Electric Bill”

Posted on November 16, 2022

With energy prices climbing it’s more important than ever to consider what we pay, and more importantly how we use energy, which is why State Representative Bill Pizzuto (R-71) is asking concerned residents to join him and Chairman Melissa Gillette for a “PURA 101 and Your Electric Bill” workshop.

The program will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, November 21st at the Waterbury Senior Center. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited and you must RSVP in advance.   The Center is located at 1985 East Main Street, Waterbury.

“I’m excited to have Chairwoman Gillette share her knowledge and expertise on ways to reduce our personal energy consumption and to break down the details of how the state’s energy producers and distributors operate,” Rep. Pizzuto said. “This is a wonderful opportunity to ask questions and receive answers directly from the agency that is tasked with regulating our state’s energy industry. I look forward to seeing you there.”
