Rep. Pizzuto Touts Bonding Allocation for Waterbury Brownfield Remediation

HARTFORD, CTState Representative Bill Pizzuto (R-71) applauded a $4 million allocation approved this month by the State Bond Commission for demolition and remediation of the former Bristol Babcock industrial site in Waterbury.

“I’m appreciative of the decision from Governor Lamont, the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, and commission members to invest in this project and for making this a priority,” said Pizzuto.

The 310,000-square-foot manufacturing complex sits on 6 acres

The Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA) released its 2024 voter record scores for the Connecticut State House and Senate. Its scores were based on action taken on several priority pieces of legislation that had been flagged by the organization because of their expected impact on Connecticut’s economic growth and business climate.
