State Representative Bill Pizzuto (R-71) thanked Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) Chairman Melissa Gillett for coming to the Waterbury Senior Center and spending more than an hour and a half engaging with more than 35 concerned seniors and delivering the agency’s “PURA 101” workshop.

Rep. Pizzuto understands that with energy prices climbing it’s important to consider what we pay and how we use energy, which is why he asked Chairman Gillett to come to Waterbury and explain PURA’s role in the state, and to break down billing and answer questions from residents.

“I want to thank Chairwoman Gillett for sharing her knowledge, expertise and tips on ways to save energy and reduce our electric and water bills,” Rep. Pizzuto said.
