HARTFORD — State Representative Bill Pizzuto (R-71st) was sworn in for his first full term at the State Capitol in Hartford today. Pizzuto, who joins his 151 colleagues in the House of Representatives, says he is ready to get to work for the residents of Middlebury and Waterbury.
For the 2023-2024 session, House Republican Leader Vincent Candelora appointed Rep. Pizzuto to serve as a member of the General Law Committee, Children’s Committee, and the Human Services Committee. Previously, he served on the Banking Committee and the Housing Committee.
“It is an honor to continue to represent the people of Middlebury and Waterbury and work on the issues that are important to all of us, including keeping streets safe, ensuring our neediest residents have the services they need and making sure state government works for all Connecticut residents,” Rep. Pizzuto said.
As the legislative session at the Capitol gets under way, Rep. Pizzuto encourages his constituents to keep in touch by calling his office at (800) 842-1423 (toll-free) or by writing him an email at William.Pizzuto@housegop.ct.gov.
The session is scheduled to run until June 7th.
