    I wanted to make you aware of new policies affecting Connecticut taxpayers and businesses that take effect on July 1st, 2022.

    This year, several important measures that may impact you, your family or your business become law, including:

    • AN ACT CONCERNING POLICE ACCOUNTABILITY – Public Act No. 20-1
    • AN ACT CONCERNING CATALYTIC CONVERTERS – Public Act No. 22-43
    • AN ACT CONCERNING CHILDREN’S MENTAL HEALTH – Public Act No. 22-47 (Sec. 3, 7-8, 11, 13, 16-21, 28, 34-37, 45, 59-64, 68-69)
    • AN ACT CONCERNING OPIOIDS – Public Act No. 22-108 (Sec. 1-5)
    • AN ACT CONCERNING ADOPTION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CONNECTICUT PARENTAGE ACT – Public Act No. 21-15 (Sec. 38-39)
