Beginning today, June 1st, Connecticut families can apply for a newly available child tax rebate. Qualified families can receive a one-time credit of $250 per child, up to $750.
The CT Department of Revenue Services is now accepting applications. In order to receive the credit, you must apply online.
To be eligible for this rebate you must meet all of the following requirements:
- You must be a resident of Connecticut;
- You must have claimed at least one child as a dependent on your 2021 federal income tax return who was 18 years of age or younger; and
- You must meet certain income thresholds.
