Middlebury, Conn.– State Representative Bill Pizzuto (R-Middlebury) joined state and local officials to honor Vietnam era veterans at a ceremony held in Middlebury recently. About 30 veterans were presented with medals from the state Department of Veterans Affairs and citations from state and federal government representatives.
“It was an honor to participate in the ceremony in Middlebury recognizing our Vietnam veterans. My dad was in WWII and he instilled in us respect for our veterans, to remember the sacrifices they made in service of our country,” said Pizzuto.
