CT Summer at the Museum

The popular “Connecticut Summer at the Museum” program has returned for the 2022 summer season, which enables Connecticut children to receive FREE ADMISSION at more than 130 museums across the state during the summer months.

Originally established in 2021 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the program is a way of providing children with engaging summer enrichment and learning experiences. It is funded by money Connecticut received from the federal government under the American Rescue Plan Act

Hot Asphalt Awareness

With hot temperatures here for the summer it’s important to be prepared, and that includes making sure your pets are safe, too.   The American Red Cross has the following tips on keeping pets safe, but essentially treat your pets the same as you treat yourself:

  • Never leave your pet in a hot vehicle, even for a few minutes. The inside temperature of the car can quickly reach 120 degrees even with the windows cracked open.
  • Limit exercise on hot days. Exercise in the early morning or evening hours.
  • Walk

2022 Acts Affecting Available Now
