BURLINGTON—State Rep. John Piscopo (R-76) joined Burlington First Selectman, Ted Schaffer, along with town officials, residents, and honored guests in offering their congratulations to Sergeant Major (SGM) Cindy Trantor of Burlington on her retirement from the Connecticut Army National Guard. During a reception held in her honor at KC Dubliner, Tranter was presented with a citation from the Connecticut General Assembly in recognition of her decorated and life-long service to her country and retirement following 30 years of service to her country. ‘It is my honor to congratulate SGM Tranter on her retirement, and to recognize her lifetime of service to our great nation,’ said Rep. Piscopo. ‘I thank her for her service and I am proud to recognize her with a citation on behalf of the Connecticut General Assembly for her accomplishments. I wish her much success in the next chapter of her journey.”
