HARWINTON— State Rep. John Piscopo (R-76) attended Harwinton’s Annual Super Saturday Jamboree. The event is the town’s kickoff to the summer season.
This year’s event combined both Super Saturday, an event for children that included tag sales, kid’s bike rodeos, food stands and live music, and the Health and Safety Saturday, which invited several local organizations to set up booths and share information for public safety and community events. More than 40 local businesses, organizations and clubs made the Jamboree one of the biggest events of the year for the town.
‘I’d like to thank First Selectman Michael Criss, and the many town officials and volunteers who came together to make this a successful event for the town of Harwinton,’ said Rep. Piscopo. ‘It was great to see the community come together on such a beautiful day, and showcase and celebrate the many wonderful things that Harwinton has to offer. I congratulate them on a job well done.’
Rep. Piscopo represents the 76th District in the General Assembly.
