Piscopo Participates in Black Rock School’s Read Aloud Day

THOMASTON – State Rep. John Piscopo joined students at Black Rock School on Tuesday morning. The school was hosting a Read Aloud Day, inviting local leaders and community organizers to participate in reading to students throughout the day. Piscopo picked the story “Busy Betty,” authored by Reese Witherspoon to read to Ms. Clark’s First Grade Class. “I really appreciate the opportunities I have to visit our schools. The students were well engaged in today’s reading. After we finished the book, we had a great discussion about time management and sticking to goals. I look forward to visiting with the students again soon,” said Piscopo.
