    State Rep. John Piscopo (R-76) has announced that he is hosting an event to retire worn American flags, together with Senators Henri Martin (R-31) and Kevin Witkos (R-8).

    Anyone who has a tattered or worn American Flag is encouraged to bring them to the following drop off locations, where they will be collected for proper retirement:

    Thomaston

    Together with Senator Henri Martin

    Thomaston Town Hall

    158 Main Street

    Monday – Thursday: 8:00am- 4:00pm
    Thursday – Friday: 8:30am-12:00pm

    Harwinton

    Together with Senator Henri Martin, Senator Kevin Witkos, and Harwinton Ives-Cleveland American Legion Post 137
    Harwinton Town Hall

    100 Bentley Drive

    Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30am- 4:00pm
    Wednesday: 8:30am – 6:00pm

    Friday: 8:30am-12:30pm

    Burlington

    Burlington Town Hall

    200 Speilman Highway

    Monday – Thursday: 8:00am- 4:00pm
    Friday: 8:00am-12:30pm

    The collection event runs from May 30th through June 13th. Collected flags from Burlington and Harwinton will be brought to the Ives-Cleveland American Legion Post 137. Collected flags from Thomaston will be brought to American Legion Post 22.
