THOMASTON – State Rep. John Piscopo and State Sen. Henri Martin congratulate Beatrice ‘Bea’ Fuller on being named Thomaston’s Citizen of the Year.
In a banquet reception held in her honor last month, the legislators presented Fuller with a citation on behalf of the Connecticut General Assembly, in recognition of her award. Fuller, who has served as a member of the Board of Selectman, the Police Commission, and the Hillside Cemetery Committee, is the 33rd citizen to have been given the distinguished honor. The legislators congratulated Fuller and thanked her for many years of dedication, volunteerism and service to the Thomaston community.
All scholarships given out this year from the Rotary Club of Thomaston will be awarded in honor of Fuller.
