State Rep. John Piscopo sits down with host Jeff Zeiner of Cablevision’s Meet the Leaders.

Piscopo discusses the major issues that are shaping the 2017 legislative session as the committee process nears a close and the legislature begins full debate in the House of Representatives and Senate.  Discussion includes the $3 billion+ deficit the state faces in the coming biennium, in addition to bills that may be called for debate on the House floor including bi-partisan bills that are pro-business, entitlement reforms and unemployment compensation.

Piscopo also discusses his work on the legislature’s Finance, Revenue, & Bonding committee, Energy & Technology committee, and Environment committees at this point in the legislative process, along with his thoughts on the governor’s proposed budget.
