Burlington- State Rep. John Piscopo read to Lake Garda Elementary School third graders today.
At the Annual Lake Garda Elementary School Read Aloud Day, Rep. Piscopo read the the book “The Buffalo are Back” after answering questions from the children about what he does in Hartford at the State Capitol.
The Buffalo are Back is a story, which follows the bison from the Plains Indians to the cowboys, Teddy Roosevelt to the Dust Bowl, and from the brink of extinction to the majestic herds that now roam our national parks.
