State Representative John Piscopo (R-76) achieved a perfect record for votes cast on the floor of the state House of Representatives during the 2021 legislative session, according to statistics gathered by the House Clerk’s Office.

Representative Piscopo was present and voted for all 467 votes taken on the state House floor during the 2021 session, according to voting record data released last week by the House Clerk’s Office. Perfect attendance is very difficult to achieve, with only about 20 percent of legislators able to do so this year.

“I firmly believe that my most important function as state representative for the residents of the 76th district is to be engaged and present during debate and for every single vote on the floor of the House,” said Rep. Piscopo, whose district includes Thomaston, Burlington, Harwinton, and Litchfield. “It is an honor to serve the residents in our great community and I take my responsibility very seriously.  I remain committed to my constituents and that is reflected in my voting record.”

Piscopo, the Chief House Republican Whip and a leader in the House Republican Caucus, serves on the Environment, Energy & Technology, and Finance, Revenue & Bonding Committees in the General Assembly.
