    Please see below notice from the Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT) regarding upcoming roadwork in Thomaston. 

    The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on a 1.35-mile segment of Route 262 (Frost Bridge Rd.) in Watertown and Thomaston, beginning Sunday June 11, 2017. 

    Works hours will be 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday June 11, to the morning of Thursday, June 22.

    LANE CLOSURE INFO

    Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 262 (Frost Bridge Rd.) and SR 848 (Waterbury Road). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday).

    Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
