The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 72 in Harwinton, beginning Thursday, July 7, 2016.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 4.55 mile segment of Route 72 in Harwinton.
This project is scheduled to occur Thursday, July 7, 2016 to Friday July 22, 2016.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2016 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 72 between the Plymouth town line and Route 4. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
