Weekend Closure of Route 4 in Harwinton for Construction Activities Associated with the Rehabilitation of Bridge 00425
(Route 4 over West Branch Leadmine Brook) in Harwinton

The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced the scheduled weekend closure of Route 4 in Harwinton beginning on Friday, August 5, at 7:00 PM. The roadway will reopen on Monday, August 8 at 5:00 AM.
The project consists of the rehabilitation of Bridge No. 00425 including replacement of the existing concrete bridge deck, parapets, and bridge rail.
DOT Project No. 0065-0112 was awarded to Mastrobattisto, Inc. on December 14, 2015, and is scheduled to be completed in August 2016.
LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION
Route 4: Road and bridge closed Friday, August 5, 2016 at 7:00 PM to Monday, August 8, 2016 at 5:00 AM.
Outside of road closure, lane closures typically take place Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
DETOUR INFORMATION
Route 4 West: Follow Dutton Hill Road to Torringford East Street to Route 202 West to Route 183 East to Route 4 West.
Route 4 East: Follow Route 183 West to Route 202 East to Torringford East Street South to Dutton Hill Road to Route 4 East.
Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
