The EPA estimates that 29.9 million desktops and 12 million laptops are discarded every day! The improper disposal of electronics can have dire consequences on our health, and the surrounding environment. As the metal and materials decompose, toxic chemicals are released, causing air and water pollution.
You can help keep toxic eWaste out of landfills by donating your used computer to GreenShare Technology. GreenShare Technology refurbishes used computers and provides them to schools, nonprofits, businesses and others who might not otherwise have access to technology for little to no cost. GreenShare Technology also recycles computers.
All donated computers are wiped of personal data to the Department of Defense Standards to assure data security.
Donated computers that can be repurposed may be tax deductible. All financial donations are 100% tax deductible. A suggested donation of $5 is used toward recycling costs.
GreenShare Technology is an Authorized Microsoft Registered Refurbisher.
