Celebrate State Forests & Parks

Earth Day is this Wednesday, April 22. It’s the perfect time to check out the great work being done by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association, a private, non-profit organization dedicated to connecting people to the land in order to protect forests, parks, walking trails, and open space throughout Connecticut for future generations.
Their experienced conservationists offer programs on the Blue-Blazed Hiking Trails, environmental education, land conservation, and public policy.
Please take a moment to learn more about their conservation effort in Connecticut and the many ways you can get outside now that the warmer weather is here and enjoy the great outdoors nearby!
