As you know, many significant pieces of legislation were debated and passed by the General Assembly throughout the 2014 legislative session. In order to better inform you about this legislation, the non-partisan Office of Legislative Research (OLR) has released summaries of the ‘2014 Major Public Acts.’
To view the report, please click here.
Some of the topics outlined in the report include: minimum wage, job creation, investments in manufacturing, mental health reforms, consumer protections, and the state budget.
These summaries are intended to be brief. OLR will release detailed summaries of all public acts later this summer.
If you would like to discuss these or any other topics that came before the legislature this session, please do not hesitate to contact my office at (800) 842-1423 or email john.piscopo@housegop.ct.gov.
