Rep. Pavalock-D'Amato Talks Insurance, Initiatives, and Legislative Priorities

Insurance in some form or another impacts a part of everyone's lives. So much so, that it is estimated the average person pays almost $10,000/year on average for their home, auto, renters, health, and life insurance. In many cases, individuals and families are being strangled by those seemingly always rising costs.

As the Ranking Member of the legislature's Insurance Committee, I was invited to participate in a round table discussion with Representative Kerry Wood, Co-Chair of the committee, to talk with those in the industry about the great working relationship Rep. Wood and I have, our legislative priorities for the next session, and what is being done at the state level to make insurance more affordable to all of our residents.
