HARTFORD – State Representative Tammy Nuccio, R-Tolland, testified recently on behalf of House Republicans in support of SB 647, a bill that she has co-sponsored that would repeal the state-mandated public benefit fees that are driving up electric bills in Connecticut.
Ratepayers are currently paying for 57 different legislative mandates, including subsidies for electric car chargers—all buried in your utility bill. Rep. Nuccio is advocating for an end to those charges this legislative session to bring immediate relief to residents, including seniors on fixed incomes and working families.
