    For those unaware, Ashford, Tolland and Willington offer energy assistance through the Connecticut Energy/Heat Assistance Program (CEAP/CHAP). This program pays benefits towards primary heat sources (utility or deliverable) and system cleaning for eligible homeowners and renters based on annual gross household income and household size [See Below].

    For households with more than eight people, add $2,087 per additional person.

    Due to the ongoing pandemic, some authorization deadlines have been extended, so it’s important that you apply ASAP if you require heating assistance for next winter. See below for more information on deadlines and how to apply.
