New Child Tax Rebate Available – Applications Being Accepted Now

Beginning today, June 1st, Connecticut families can apply for a newly available child tax rebate. Qualified families can receive a one-time credit of $250 per child, up to $750.

The CT Department of Revenue Services is now accepting applications. In order to receive the credit, you must apply online.

To be eligible for this rebate you must meet all of the following requirements:

  • You must be a resident of Connecticut;
  • You must have claimed at least one child as a dependent on your 2021 federal income

Rep. McCarty Supports Bipartisan Sikorsky Aircraft Package

In a show of support and commitment to maintain Sikorsky Aircraft and thousands of jobs in the state and region, State Rep. Kathleen McCarty last week supported a bipartisan legislative agreement that the State of Connecticut and parent company Lockheed Martin negotiated in order to keep Sikorsky headquartered and building helicopters in Connecticut through 2042.
