The Department of Transportation announced they are developing plans to replace signs and sign supports along Route 2, Route 3, Route 11, Route 17, including associated on-ramps and off-ramps, including revisions to mileage-based exit numbering.

The unemployment rate in the state is approximately at 16% and families are struggling to meet their basic needs. Since Tropical Storm Isaias made landfall on Tuesday, restoration efforts have been underway to restore power across Connecticut. Thousands remain without power making it difficult to escape the extreme heat and work from home, as many have been doing since the pandemic began.
As of this morning there are 2,461 United Illuminating (UI) customers and 88,600 Eversource customers without power. Eversource expects nearly all customers to have power by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, but that means many residents…
