CT Mission of Mercy (CTMOM) is a two-day clinic that provides free dental care to the underserved and uninsured in Connecticut; those who would otherwise go without this care.

In an effort to learn more about the Department of Transportation, its departments and current and future projects, State Representative Tracy Marra joined several of her colleagues for an open house and tour of the large Newington facility. The lawmakers and other stakeholders were able to meet directly with DOT officials and experts to discuss current and future construction taking place across the state, including update on local projects on the Merritt and I-95.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) at approximately 2:20 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
The national test will consist of two portions, testing WEA and EAS capabilities. The WEA portion of the test will be directed to all consumer cell phones. The test message will display in either English or in Spanish, depending on the language settings…

Concerned with food insecurity, especially among Connecticut’s children, State Representative Tracy Marra (R-141) and more than 20 of her friends gladly teamed up to help children in need by volunteering with Filling in the Blanks in Norwalk.
