State Rep. Tracy Marra recently joined Rep. Steinberg and other stakeholders at UConn Law for a discussion about Connecticut’s energy use, procurement, and future. Rep. Marra, the Ranking Member on the legislature’s Energy & Technology Committee, said the well attended event featured a long talk and back-and-forth exchange about the future of the state’s energy grid, the role of the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) and chairwoman Gillett, and how renewable energy sources fit into the overall state plan moving forward.
