State Rep. Tracy Marra recently spent more than an hour talking with members of the Darien Men’s Association during their regular meeting held at the Darien Community Association Thursday afternoon.
Rep. Marra joined more than two dozen Association members for a fantastic back-and-forth discussion that covered a wide range of topics, including the state budget, taxes, energy policy and costs, transportation and tolls, housing, and more.
As Ranking Member of the Energy and Technology Committee, Rep. Marra was able to spend quite a bit of time discussing everyone’s current concerns with the state’s energy costs, availability, and future projections related to usage, need, and generation. They also talked about the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority and Chair Gillete’s renomination hearing that was taking place at the same time as their meeting.
