Today, I proudly joined my House Republican colleagues and state and national advocates to fight for the rights of young women during a Save Girls Sports CT rally at the Capitol.
As the mother of three girls, I want them to have access to every opportunity possible, including in sports, and it is imperative that we protect girls from having to compete athletically with biological men.
I was honored to address the crowd and share the stage with Kim Jones, co-founder of The Independent Council on Women’s Sport, and Payton McNabb, who at 17-years-old was permanently injured by a biological man competing in a girls volleyball match.
Our girls demand the opportunity and equality they deserve, and I will continue to fight for their rights.
