Office Hours Update

I would like to thank everyone that attended my Office Hours in both Jewett City and Preston over the last several months. It’s always great meeting so many of you and listening to the issues that concern you the most.

As we move through Summer, Office Hours will be suspended until sometime in the late Fall. I will make sure to update you when they are rescheduled.

Hartford- Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont signed Public Act 24-123 (formerly H.B. No. 5350, An Act Concerning the Enforcement of Boating Laws on Bodies of Water Near the Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New York Borders) into law on Wednesday after the bill was passed in the House and Senate over the final days of the 2024 Legislative Session.

Welcome Home NFA Alumni Leadership Event

It was such a joy heading back to the Norwich Free Academy, the high school that I graduated from in 2001 to attend their Welcome Home event for NFA Alumni Leadership. I was joined by State Representatives Tim Ackert (R-8), Derell Wilson (D-46), Kevin Brown (D-56), State Senator Cathy Osten (D-19) and Mayor Peter Nystrom (R-Norwich) for what was one of the very best events I can remember in quite some time.
