State Reps. David Labriola and Rosa C. Rebimbas took time out of their busy session day schedule to meet with members of the Naugatuck High School Animal Rights Club on Wednesday, April 24, 2013.  The group, led by class advisor Anthony Sorge, came to the Capitol to meet with legislators and promote animal rights issues important to the group.  This year’s legislative calendar includes several bills on topics ranging from dissection choice to cage requirements for certain farm animals.

The Representatives, who spent more than a half-hour with the club listening to their concerns and answering specific questions, said they appreciated the visit and the passion the students show in advocating on issues that are important to them.
