Celebrates CBIA Day at the Capitol

HARTFORD – Connecticut Business Day was held today at the Capitol as an opportunity for entrepreneurs, CEOs and Chamber of Commerce members of the Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA) to meet with their legislators. State Representative David Labriola (R-131) attended to connect with his local chamber and speak about Connecticut’s business climate, as well as thank attendees for their contribution to Connecticut’s economy.

(L to R) Lynn Ward, President of the Waterbury Chamber of Commerce; John Ford of Naugatuck, owner of Alderson Funderal Homes; Rep. Labriola; Charles Boulier, President of Ion Bank; and Courtney Ligi, President of the Naugatuck Chamber of Commerce.

Over three hundred small business constituents from around the state participated in Business Day this year. It is an excellent time for job creators to come together about local, regional and state issues, as well as how to make Connecticut more economically competitive.
