Rep. Labriola Attends Math Night at City Hill

State Representatives David Labriola and Rosa C. Rebimbas asked Naugatuck students “How do you eat an Oreo?”during a Fourth Grade Math Night exercise at City Hill Middle School in Naugatuck on Thursday, April 25, 2013.  The Representatives, who explained how math impacts the legislative process with the counting of votes to pass bills, used Oreos to determine how Naugatuck’s fourth graders eat their cookies.  After close voting “eat the cookie first” slightly edged out “eat the cream first” and “another way” for the win.  The event, hosted by Naugatuck Public Schools Math Consultant Kim Jones went from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
