“Roadmap” for electric vehicle mandate

I’m sending a quick note about a subject that’s gained a lot of attention over the last few months—a ban on gas-powered vehicles.

It was pushback from residents and businesses in all corners of the state that caused the Governor and majority Democrats to pause their immediate push for an electric vehicle mandate, but new legislation makes clear that their intention is to revisit their unpopular plan to adopt California’s radical emissions standards.

Yale New Haven Hospital Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship Program

Deadline to apply: March 3, 2024 3:00 pm CT

Yale New Haven Hospital announced it is currently accepting applications for a scholarship program to assist minority students who plan to continue their education in specific health related majors. The annual, renewable scholarships are for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.

This program is administered by Scholarship America. Eligibility is determined

WBDC Ignite Grant Applications Being Accepted Now!

The Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC) announced that applications for the Ignite grant, formerly known as the Equity Match Grant, are now being accepted!

The deadline to apply is March 14, 2024. The application is also offered in Spanish.
