Yesterday, State Representative Joe Hoxha had a chance to visit a local Subway franchise in Bristol owned by a former co-worker of mine, Ceilia Gill. Celia and Joe met years ago when they were both employees of Subway. She has come a long way since then and through hard work and determination now owns five Subway franchises. Rep. Hoxha and Ceilia spoke about doing business in Connecticut and some of the issues she must contend with – rising minimum wage, along with electricity and utility costs.
"I appreciate Ceilia taking the time to talk with me and for her insight into some of her challenges as a small business owner," Rep. Hoxha said.
