Wallingford, CT – State Representative Joe Hoxha (R-78) recently toured the Connecticut Foodshare facility in Wallingford to see firsthand the organization’s efforts in fighting food insecurity across the state.
“Connecticut Foodshare is doing incredible work to ensure families have access to fresh, nutritious food when they need it most,” said Rep. Hoxha. “Their dedicated team and volunteers are making a real difference in the lives of so many, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to witness their impact firsthand.”
Connecticut Foodshare plays a vital role in addressing hunger by distributing millions of meals annually through food pantries, meal programs, and community partnerships. The organization relies on volunteers, donors, and community support to fulfill its mission of reducing food insecurity in Connecticut.
Rep. Hoxha extended his appreciation to the staff and volunteers at Connecticut Foodshare for their commitment to serving the community. He also encouraged residents to get involved by volunteering, donating, or supporting the organization’s mission.
