HARTFORD – Rep. Joe Hoxha, R-78th, joined his colleagues and took the oath of office Wednesday to serve as the voice for the people of Bristol and Plymouth in the House of Representatives.
House Republican Leader Vincent Candelora appointed Rep. Hoxha to serve on the legislature’s Government Administration and Elections, Appropriations and Banking committees.
“What an experience today, I’m so honored and humbled to be sworn in to represent the great people of the 78th. I want to thank everyone who attended on my behalf, my family, friends, and colleagues,” Rep. Hoxha said. “I also want to thank former Rep. Whit Betts for his 12 years of service in the district, I certainly have big shoes to fill, and he will be missed in the halls of the House. Thank you to the constituents in the 78th; I look forward to working with, and for you.”
