The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection held a virtual public informational hearing about applications by Iroquois Gas Transmission System, L.P. for Point Source New Source Review Permits in Brookfield.

State Representative Martin Foncello submitted written comments in opposition to expansion at the compressor station site.

Written comments will be accepted until the close of business on January 15, 2026, when the hearing record will close. All written comments must be submitted to DEEP.Adjudications@ct.gov.   

After the hearing record is closed, DEEP staff will prepare a response to comments document and issue their recommendation.
