State Representative Martin Foncello hosted a successful food drive on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Big Y World Class Market in Brookfield to benefit Brookfield Food Pantry, by helping restock the shelves as kids go back to school, to make this time of year a bit less stressful for local residents in-need. Through the generosity of the community, Foncello was able to drop off a carload of donations to the food pantry, located at Brookfield Town Hall.

“I want to give a special shout out to Big Y Brookfield for hosting us, and to staff at Brookfield Town Hall for coordinating drop-off of the items,” said Rep. Foncello. “I thank all of our Brookfield neighbors for their kindness and generosity in supporting the food drive. The response was incredible, with one shopper donating a cart full of items!”
