HARTFORD – The House was in session on Wednesday, April 17, and Thursday, April 18. To review all of the legislation that was considered, please click on the corresponding date and you will be provided with the House Journal. I was honored to lead the House of Representatives in the Pledge of Allegiance. It was a privilege to be asked to fill this role.

I had the opportunity to participate in several advocacy events during our session days, including Nurses’ Day at the Capitol and I ran into Brookfield resident Alanna Kavanaugh.

It was also Husky Day, where we celebrated the back-to-back UConn Huskies Men’s Basketball team!

This week was also the Connecticut State Firefighters Association’s Fire Service Day. Departments from across the state visited with lawmakers to discuss critical resources and legislation impacting them. I took an opportunity to demo a new ‘jaws of life’ machine. The CT Fire Academy also showed off new VR technology.
