Celebrating 50 Years with Wallingford McDonalds!

Rep. Fishbein joined Lieutenant Governor Bysiewicz, Wallingford Mayor Vincent Cervoni, State Senator Paul Cicarella, YMCA Executive Director Doherty, Board of Education member Caroline Raynis, Council members, and dozens of friends and well wishers for the 50th anniversary celebration of the Wallingford McDonalds restaurant.

Owner Ted Zafiris hosted an amazing event that featured food and giveaways for children as he kicked off a month of deals on various menu items that will be priced at $.50 each! He also announced he was making a $50,000 donation to the Wallingford YMCA!

Local officials crowded into the dining area as Lt. Gov. Bysiewicz presented a card from the Executive Branch and Rep. Fishbein and State Senator Cicarella presented an official state citation on behalf of the entire Wallingford delegation which includes Reps. Mushinsky and Linehan.

And both kids and adults crowded into photographs and took selfies with Grimace as New Haven radio station WPLR broadcast live!
