    Suicide Awareness and Prevention!

    Growing up, Robin Williams maintained a very special place in my brain and heart, on various planes. Eleven years ago today, his demons got the best of him, and he decided to end his life.

    If you run across someone morose and upset, please go ahead and ask what the matter is, because talking helps.

    Also, Connecticut has a Suicide Advisory Board. Here is their website https://www.preventsuicidect.org/ which has a lot of helpful resources. Also, for you hockey fans, I recently discovered https://www.shouldercheck.org/, whose motto is “Reach out, Check In, Make Contact,” to let others know that you are there for them.

    Mental health is serious stuff.
